Instructor: Donna Arment, Durango Computer Classroom Beginning Excel Class (2 sessions 10/6 & 10/13/15)
In this 2-night introductory class you will learn the basics of Excel to gain professional skills you need when developing spreadsheets. Topics include: options, backstage view, auto-recovery and quick access, toolbox, trust center, formulas, formatting worksheets, charts, and more. When you complete this course you will have mastered the basic level of Excel and feel more confident when creating spreadsheets. Computers will not be supplied, bring your own laptop to work on the in class exercises.
Prerequisite: Basic Computer Literacy and solid mouse, keyboarding and Windows experience
Donna Arment has spent most of her professional career in purchasing and monitoring library collections and expenditures. During this time, she has become an expert in the use of Microsoft Excel. Donna has created numerous spreadsheets to help streamline budget processes and track monthly statistics. She has taught students with a variety of skill levels since 2000. Donna has a B.A. in English Literature and a Masters in Library and Information Science.
