Nancy Wharton and Jasper Welch are management consultants, trainers and entrepreneurs that are based in Durango, CO. We co-founded DurangoSpace in early 2011, which was originally located at 1221 Main, in downtown Durango until December 2017. Working together as co-managers and co-owners of DurangoSpace, Nancy and Jasper transformed over 6 months of research in 2010, into the premier coworking community in southwestern Colorado. Yes, we were one of the first community-based and locally-owned coworking spaces in western Colorado! In June 2013, Nancy retired from active management, and stayed involved as an outside advisor, coworking advocate and co-founder. In the Spring of 2020 (Tues April 21st, to be exact!), we will be celebrating 9 years of coworking in Durango, Colorado. In January 2018 we have moved up and over to our new location in the Crossroads Building in downtown Durango. Our new address is 101 W. 11th Street, Unit #108, which you can access of the side street (11th) behind the Alpine Bank, on the north side entrance of the Crossroads building. Turn right at the top of the 1/2 flight of outside stairs and follow the first floor hallways to DurangoSpace (southwestern corner of Crossroads/Alpine Bank building). For our regular monthly DurangoSpace members we offer both reserved Workspaces (14 private workspaces with 2 memberships in each workspace), plus a number of open coworking work desks. We are member-driven and responsive to your coworking needs!
